workflow Talk communications came to us seeking advice on a problem they faced. Their business is constantly changing and they had significant frustration at trying to keep up with those changes and in particular the IT systems they had in place did not keep up with them.

As the structural changes were so deep, we suggested the best approach would be to deploy a workflow system that allowed for integration into the existing applications they have to give flexibility and yet retain the investment they have as cost effectively as possible.

Projects

The following projects have been achieved with Talk:

  • Assessment of Workflow products including Microsoft Workflow (Windows Workflow part of .NET framework) and recommendation and supply of Singularity Workflow product
  • Setup and training of staff in the use and configuration of singularity
  • Integration of the existing suite of office applications that run Talk Communications business into Workflow to achieve greater flexibility and re-use of the existing applications
  • Small adapter development to allow singularity to integrate completely into existing applications as required

Outcome
