EJI has developed a fully customised suite of PHP MySql, Java MySql and Microsoft .NET SQL Server Business systems to run a very profitable backpacker travel business. Underpinned by the software we developed, they have become the top of their game in Australia.

They wanted to automate as much business process as possible in order to maximise profits.

When we started the original turnover was less than $200k/year which rose to about $60 million/year, exclusively under our support.  Note although business has grown significantly the number of administrative staff members has not due to the efficiency created by the software.  

The System models their business exactly (business process) and manages every aspect of it.  It is the only information system required for accounting (with integrated support into SAP), reporting, sales revenue and commissions.   This includes integration to their SAP package & Web service integration to many 3rd party companies such as:

  • GreyHound Australia Buses (booking on line and reconciliation of payments)
  • Money Direct payment gateway
  • ANZ Egate payment Gateway and banking
  • Respax On line bookings
  • Reslinks on line bookings
  • Cpanel email systems

The system reports live information (accessible only by directors) of daily/weekly profit and sales.  This is used to manage agents and shops located throughout Australia and overseas, manage individual staff members and determine performance pay, bonuses and many other reports that monitor productivity.
